You’ve lost me a little on this one..?

5km on an ERG isn’t a big deal. It takes a little over 20 mins (or about 6 tracks on Spotify).
Yeah I know its not a big deal... thats the great sadness.

I thought you were going early every morning, at dawn, to feed your local Loch Ness and do 5km of rowing in some misty lake surrounded by nature seen from Scottish movies.

GB now down to 10 temporarily.

Got to win this in normal time before penalties as the Indian GK is a decent shot-stopper.

GB not good enough with the final ball. Draw was probably fair.

Having taken it to the shootout, the advantage with India now.

Wow what a save. We are not beating these on a shootout are we.
I know f*** all about hockey but on that game it looks to me like India have the flair players so if it’s a player running against the keeper, rather than a football type penalty shoot out, I suggest India will win this.

Any ideas why the commentator calls us 'Great Britain and Northern Ireland'...

I thought Northern Ireland was part of Great Britain

GB first to miss. Too rushed, didn't look confident.

India lead 3-2. And the Indian keeper saves...

No - GB is England, Scotland and Wales.

I'm not really sure why we compete as GB&NI (and frequently ignore the NI bit) rather than the UK - The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.
