Their parents, if they have any common sense, and wish to shield their kids from f***ing swearing, and gratuitious sexism - whole threads about Gemma Atkinson's TITS and the like.

:lolol:

Top answer HKFC

The club are currently in the process of building a new YS website, part of this will include chat/networking functionality. It will ONLY be open to YS members, with permission from parents. It is due to launch next spring/summer.

What are YS members ?

I think Mini (aged 12 and 4 days) would be more than keen to talk BHAFC with other younger fans.

Not so sure about Junior (17) more interested in gangsta rap, young nubile ladies and drinking beer at present.

I suppose their will be the option to 'upgrade' when they reach the age of 16?

I think its a great idea but there are things to iron out.

a) you might be able to protect youngsters from adults entering their site but cant see how you can stop youngsters entering the adult site - it would be good if you could technically block a person having both but don't know if this is possible (IP trace / no duplicates allowed?) What about having to quote a membership number, either STH or AMS maybe?

b) at what point does the youngsters account get closed? aged 16? and they are expected to migrate to the adults section? Presumable the parent would have to request this or are you going to hold DOBs and auto close? May need some debate / agreement.

I do think this is a ggod idea but is there another medium already available? Twitter, My Face, etc.

If Sportacus played for us I'd have more luck getting him interested...

Sportacus would solve our ruddy defensive lapses.
