They have only banned them now because para athletes and their international bodies threatened a boycott. It was athlete power that forced the IPC into this humiliating climbdown.

The IPC is clearly not fit for purpose and hopefully those in charge will be removed before too long.

A bit bizarre bearing in mind the IOC Executive were only the other day recommending governing bodies of sports ban Russian and Belarus athletes from competition yet a few days later, it's sister organization ignores that and lets them compete. Too many of these bodies aren't capable of 'reading the room'!
