One of the only good things that could come out of this, is that they show support for the anti war feeling and possibly claim asylum.

I suspect it will and every medal will be shouted in country as a win for them.

The public probably haven't been told about having to compete as ROC.

That was for state sponsored doping, not invasion of a Sovereign State.

Who are lauded in their own country as Russian if they win.

Even the commentators refer to them as Russian.

The original, questionable in my opinion, decision to allow anyone from the cheating drug enhanced performance programme of the Russian state was just about drugs.

Now they are representing Russia , as far as the Kremlin is concerned, even though Putin is murdering innocent civilians.
The world should say no competitors from Russia or Belarus or no one else takes part.

I expect China will ignore that though.

A boycott by most of the countries due to compete might change the IPC's mind. If it doesn't, then organise an alternative event later in the year.

As POC/IOC have bottled it we now need all the athletes to refuse to play them in any completion - unfortunately most events are solo type runs. Imagine if all the skiers refused to take part then POC/IOC would have to react

They’ve banned them on a technicality rather than because Russia has invaded Ukraine. FFS.

They have only banned them now because para athletes and their international bodies threatened a boycott. It was athlete power that forced the IPC into this humiliating climbdown.

The IPC is clearly not fit for purpose and hopefully those in charge will be removed before too long.
