I've been padded down but my backpack containing my laptop, etc does not always get checked. Sometimes they just ask what's in it and wave me through.

I always bring along an asthma inhaler. Always get patted down, it's been detected and questioned literally once in a dozen times since the pat-downs started. That's all I'm saying.
