Apologies if I've missed this one on here somewhere before, but, according to todays Mail, Palarse are to approach Peter Taylor for the vacant managers post. Would he leave Hull to manage the pikeys, especially as he turned down Reading? Surely he would stay with a club with prospects for the future?

why on earth leave Hull (although as a town it's not much better than Croydump) with a lovely new stadium and a team that's doing really well to manage Palace?

Taylors in the comfort zone at Hull. It's clear he doesn't fancy doing things the hard way. I'll be surprised if he goes to Smellhurst.

have to disagree with you there hull is one of the hardest jobs in the league they expect to win the league this year with the amount of money they have spent and there new ground plus there support is massive

Exactly my point...With the amount of money Taylor has at his disposal, compared to other clubs in that division, it would be harder NOT to win the league, providing the money is properly spent.

I agree that the Mail is shite, but so is every other tabloid. My missus buys it because she can't be arsed to read a broadsheet.

I bet most on here by the Sport or Sun for the tits anyway!

Disgraceful behaviour!

Is this the same Peter Taylor who can coach but hasn't got a clue when buying players? He made a mistake with Akinbiyi and was the scapegoat for Leicester's problems.

Class coach/manager in my book, expect Hull to go straight through Division 2 next season and still Taylor will get no credit from some of you!

Why would he want to go to the Scum?

Taylor won't go anywhere.

1. Hull are potentially bigger than Palace.

2. Hull are going up, and Palace down.

3. He will be hated by all Brighton fans if he goes to Palace.

Wow! That must be the most writing I've ever done in one post!

I thankyou.:lolol:

The Independent's now available in tabloid size, exactly the same content as broadsheet. And it's a quality read. Apart from the lack of tits.

I can't see taylor going imoh. hes started the ball rolling at hull, has got them top of the league and they have got a big fan base and in the not so distant futher could be a divsion one team, can't see palace ever getting back to the premier league so both teams have the same potentail. Plus he turned down reading. so i can see him turning down palace

I see in the Sun that Kinnear is interested in the Palace job.
