Now now Ladyboys, getting a little jealous are we. The weeds record attendance is less than 26000 (hahahahaha) whereas ours is double that.

You have proven yourself to be an ill informed twerp with that comment. Go away you cretin.

historical attendances mean absolutely jack shit when it comes to the ability to draw crowds today

Exactly.
Portsmouth, Charlton, and most northern clubs boast these collosal records attendances, which was just a luck thing if you happened to have vast terraces.

If the Goldstone had been bigger, you could have added 20,000 to some of those 1970's games.

Who cares now. Ancient history.

The same story, of the one there'll never be able to afford.

Of course they can afford it - they have 4 billionaires in charge after all. One of them even boasted they had more money than QPR when Ecclestone and Mittal were involved

Zaha's transfer fee will cover it.

The magnificent 4 who seem rather reluctant to dust off those wallets. Perhaps not enthralled by the cost of rebuilding the rust bucket of a stadium, for an ungrateful 12,000 fanbase.

Exactly - those honorable billionaires with so much money, who didn't see fit to payoff the creditors in full.
