Palace seem to be on a bit of a roll at present. Dowie has proved to be an astute choice as manager, but the playoffs are out of reach surely

plus we got a new defender todat?

Woe for Murdoch on and off field

Stuart Murdoch watched Crystal Palace beat Wimbledon 3-1 - then confirmed he expects to sell defender Mikele Leigertwood to Palace within days.
Two strikes from Andy Johnson and another by Danny Granville dumped Palace's former tenants deeper into relegation trouble at the ground they used to share, in a match delayed 45 minutes by an unsound roof on the Main Stand.

But Murdoch, who was unable to select Leigertwood because of his impending transfer, insists he is no quitter and vowed to fight on despite insisting that his best players are being sold off too cheaply.

He said: "Sometimes I feel like the rug is being pulled from under my feet but I won't walk away. I'm not going to roll over and die.

"I'm being told every month that we will be out of administration but I've got to the stage where I don't believe what anybody tells me. You get cynical.

"We missed Leigertwood desperately and if we'd have had him it might have been different. He was in the dressing room today, but I don't know which one."

I'm happy for you to beat Reading, and to be honest I wouldn't be too displeased if you got to a play-off final - as long as you lost (either 6-0 or in the last minute)

Aren't Wimbledon Palace's reserves now days? You seem to get lots of players on the cheap from them! So what's the big deal about beating your reserve team!?:lolol:

Enjoy it whilst you can Brighton Rock.

You'll be waiting for us next season and we have a certain October game to avenge

Haven’t Palace now taken something like 13 points out of 18 since Dowie took over? Things have certainly picked up there at present, but hopefully normal service will resume soon.
