Brighton's Mark McGhee is the shock choice of Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan to take over as manager following Iain Dowie's departure, negotiations between McGhee and Palace are due to start tomorrow with the deal expected to be completed by Wednesday.

our performances against Palace last season were 2 of our better ones - maybe mr orange chairman will base his decision to poach mcghee on these - could just imagine him quoting how motivated we were when we beat them at their place etc etc!
