Palace fans GO by STEAM train

That is so cool, dinner tickets, steam train/travel, drinks last game of the season!!! Not cheap but hey for a treat cool as ****

It wasn't a steam train but the Millenium play off final day was very cool. We could get hot grub on the way back and mysteriously bottles of booze emerged from all over the train on the way back. It was a great day.

Possibly the only time in my life I've been jealous of Palace fans.

I'd love that as an away day.

It is a good idea, however let's hope there are no technical difficulties. They wouldn't hear the end of it.

What a splendid idea! Main line steam trips are pretty expensive anyway, so not unduly over-priced. Yes, it's a lot of money (or it is to me anyway) but what a smashing day out it would be if it was us.

High up on the South Downs.
At that price I'd want the celebrity fans to put on a show. Bill Nighy in the bar. Mark Steel telling the jokes and Eddie Izzard camping it up and not getting a laugh.

BRAUNTON was built in 1946 at Brighton Works. (Someone has changed its name?)

Steam trains built at Brighton

Electric depot at Croydon.

PS: The rotten electric trains we've got at the moment were built in Derby.

Will the train go via Horsham or Hove?
