I was talking to a mate who has lived in New Cross (an area where both sets live) for a couple of years now and he knew a few of the local palace fans who told him that Palace stay away from Millwall nowadays so that doesn't surprise me at all. If they had taken a decent amount ( their full allocation no doubt ) there would have ben mental fights around the New Den. Probably a good thing that they didn't take many.

When we played Palace last they only sold 160 odd tickets for the valley, and you can't get more nearer for them. :nono:

excuses, excuses.

In reality,a budget little outfit.
Worth keeping an eye on Pal@ces attendancies now,the club should be seeing maximum gates.

 I bet you don't even smile when you lot take the piss out of Palace do you? You actually believe you have the right which is incredible. For the record we sold 1500 tickets for Millwall because we got allocated 1500 tickets for Millwall! And as for the Clownton Pathetic supporter having a pop they only come out the woodwork when for once in 30 yers they're getting the upper hand on us. Enjoy it Clownton fool it won't last much longer and you know it!

yadda yadda. It doesn't escape the fact of your abysmal attendancies at home. They betray your smalltime nature.

To be fair to Palace, 1500 at Millwall isn't too bad. We didn't take that many last year. If Millwall had allowed anymore tickets then there could have been a good deal of Trouble, and the extra cost of policing etc...

P.S I always smile when taking the piss out of Palace :bigwave:

A 14,000 home gate for a game like that says more about the lack of potential at Millwall than the lack of travelling Palace.

 Cheekey Monkey good post mate that's what we were saying after Saturday's game, we could do no more than sell our allocation and for only 12,500 Millwall to turn up for what is the big home game this season is disappointing for them i reckon.

:D And there was trouble at London Bridge after the game i've been told between Palace fans who weren't actually at the game and Millwall fans coming through, so it was as you say probably sensible that Millwall kept it at 1500 away fans.

I heard that when Palace played Milwall at Home last year, they locked the Palace in there own ground for safety reasons after the game!

Did I hear right????

Or was it the Metropolitan Police doing another topnotch job for the away support?:tosser: :tosser: :tosser:
