:lolol: Just saw this. Why were we relegated to the third football story of the day? Especially given that the whole Palookaville thing makes us arguably the only SE football story at the moment. Story 1 was Charlton are playing Arsenal (ooh that'll be difficult!) and Story 2 Hesenthaler's in trouble (will he get a reprieve at the weekend?)

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, about a month ago there was a 5 min story on a Charlton fan who (extraordinarily) lived in........Kent. Hold the backpages!!!! :lolol:

In fairness to BBC South East, they've given us some good coverage this week - especially the interview with Blair.

And they NEVER mention Portsmouth, Southampton or Reading.

Or Southend, for that matter.

Presumably she's trying to pronounce it like a word she already knows - and is thinking of Waterlooville.

I thought only little kids did that. I remember when I was making meringues and my daughter asked me whether the "boomerangs" were ready?

My meringues came out like that too Lush. I think I left them in the oven too long

And it's over to Sally Gunnell for the latest from Pakoolaville:

"Varmellous scenes here at Pakoolaville as The Ablion have just corsed to make it 2-0. A great move was started by Wipers, who threw it out to Merry KO who drove a brilliant ball down the line to Karen Durrie who beat the Bullfack and crossed into the Analty Pearear where Neon Light was waiting to poer the ball into the net. The Coalgeeper made a Libriant save and the ball rebounded to Alan Virgin who stroked the ball into the net with the inside of his fright root"

And now back to the studio
