P/C problem ? Windows Power Shell.

This program has suddenly appear on my start-up screen/programmes/icons. No idea what it is or does,but P/C now running slow. Any advice. Please.

It's a Microsoft scripting / shell tool, possibly from a WIndows Update (?)

Try here if you need help removing it.

I doubt just having PowerShell installed will make your PC run slow, there is probably other stuff that would though - like Windows Desktop Search 4.0.

Having Windows on your PC is what makes it run slow.
