Delighted for Wycombe, had a soft spot for them since they had that cup run many years ago with the great Paul McCarthy at the heart of their defence. Shame they couldn't have the victory in front of a packed Wembley, but they'll not worry about that as they look forward to Championship football next season. Great to see David Stockdale looking rather trim in the celebrations too.

Well done Wycombe. Really pleased for Ainsworth and you’ve got to love Akinfenwa.

Well done to Akinfenwa for just about stopping himself from making it all about him :lolol:

They have longest serving manager. Great to see club do well after sticking with manager. Not long ago with same manager very nearly went out of league. Interesting to know difference in income from Div 1 and Championship. Hope they survive as will be up against big clubs with big budgets

US owners got themselves a championship club for about $5m USD - not bad going when you see what Wigan changed hands for two years ago

Although they won't be playing Ipswich Town or Sunderland. I'm guessing they've been promoted to the Premier League.

Apparently Akinfenwa knows he’s off anyway - back to Northampton for a final year

Signed on with Wycombe for another year.

I’m really looking forward to see how him and Wycombe do next season.
