My brother in law is a manager at a top casino in London and knows Kemsley fairly well. Real wide boy apparently and not the safest pair of hands shall we say. As freehold will just be sold on there are a couple of scenarios.
1) Most unlikely that a property developer will come along at this time and demolish the whole lot for a property development
2) More likely someone with concern for the club will take up the freehold on their behalf!

How will this impact on Crystal Palace FC? Should we offer them a ground share at Falmer if it all goes tits up for them??

A property developer might want to speculate on the market picking up in a couple of years however and pick up the freehold at a bargain price and send in the bulldozers to build a new retail park. CPFC would still be paying rent until they had to relocate or groundshare elsewhere.

No wonder Alan Sugar decided to drop him from the interview panel last night. His CV is possibly worse than some of the contestants!!!

The dream is coming true - Selhurst Park to be bulldozed and turned into a pikeys retail park.

Smellhurst Park would make an excellent permanent Travellers site.

This might even improve the neighbourhood by several hundred pounds

Don't be silly. I'd be willing to offer them the Goldstone though.

Wouldn't wish on anyone what we have been through in the last 12 years.

I totally agree. I would happily revell in Palace falling down the leagues but would not want EVEN them to suffer like we have.

Also they would probably just end up at the Valley sharing anyway.

I would have said the Valley although the New Den would be easier fr them to get to. As it is Charlton could probably do with the cash more. However, who knows ? Tangoman keeps threatening to sell up and for all we know there may be some Dot.Com millionaire willing to step in and buy Palace.

Would anyone be mad enough to buy a club who didn't have a ground...

Think CPFC are only a year or two into a 25 year agreement to play at Selhurst Park, so provided they keep paying the rent I cant really see any immediate problems.

Given how ling it took us to get planning permission you may want to start looking for somewhere else now then. :dunce:
