Well you'll find that the same 22 goal striker can only get that many playing for a very good League 1 team, don't think you'll get the same return from a player in a poor Championship side, no matter how much over the odds you pay him.

More delusion. If anything he'll be better as he'll be getting service from Zaha and Ambrose, players you can only dream of.

Who left because he had been told he wouldnt be gauranteed first team football next season plus he had heard about the prospective signings so knew this would be true and is apparently having 2nd thoughts and looking at ways to get out of actually signing for you.

You wonder why alot of CPFC fans call you lot deluded? Look no further than this post. Where'd you read that mate? The all reliable football-rumuors site?

I think Dougie's comments about us selling one or two before we buy have been misread. Our board this week came onto our main forum and said the budget this year will be competitive and Lennie Lawerence has come out in the last day and said he expects a busy time next week with players coming in. Other than Danns he doesn't expect any other departures. I think Dougie means that where prob have to sell someone if we want to get all our top targets, someone like Jordan Rhodes, who we have admitted we would like, will cost over a million. But don't try and make out were potless.

You're not quite potless seeing as you've spunked a load on a striker not valued as highly by ourselves, Southampton, Millwall and Derby all of whom have more spending power than you lot. We'll see what you have to spend but you'll find the likes of Rhodes commanding a high six figure or even a seven figure fee, be surprised if you get that. Face a fact, you're not much of an attraction for a younger player with ambition either. Settle for other people's cast offs and be happy with another season of mediocrity.

Making it up as you go along.

Murray would still be your first choice striker had he not joined a bigger club.
None of your magical signings would have threatened his spot in any way - it's arguable that your squad is now weaker than it was before.

He isn't looking at getting out of signing for us. You're going senile in your old age, grandad. Mental.

Freedman himself said that Murrays agent, ex Palace player Bobby Bowery is still touting him around to get a better deal for him. It was reported by people who know him that he had approached Brighton but was told the original offer was no longer on the table.

Millwall, Derby and yourselves do not have more spending power, you have absolutely no idea.
We're a massively attractive club for young players, because we have an incredible record of making great players out of them. Freedman and 2010 are building for the future, and it looks very bright.

I can't think of many more attractive nPC clubs for young players. Also, you were desperate to keep Murray but he didn't want to play for you. Your owns fans say that he never liked it at Brighton.

.
1. He wasnt first choice last season and was used ina rotation system but yes he did well because our style of play suited him better tha any we had previously used.
2. Bigger club, we have traded as a solvent cliub for many years. In days gone by as your older supporters will tell you, if they know, when Raymond Bloiye was your owner/ Chairman, not one player was employed by CPFC they were all employed by Bloyes butchers (Matthew Butchers) as public relations officers and as such the FA watched their accounts closely for irregularities. They were then sold and that is when yours/their financial problems started, bigger club, I dont think so.

He is not able to sign a contract until July 1st (FA rules), he can sign a pre contract agreement but that can be got over. He probably will sign it on July 1st because nobody else wants him at the wage he is seeking.

You're right,he was never really happy at Brighton, mainly as you will find out he is a Northern lad and if a Northern club come in for him he will be off like a shot...we want players who give/put 100% into the club....I thank thee...

Almost forgot. Bigger clubs spend alot of their existence in the 3rd and 4th tiers of football. Bigger clubs get relegated from the 2nd tier twice in the last decade. Bigger clubs play in cathedrals such as the Withdean.

Bigger clubs than CPFC tend to finish higher than them in the league ladder don't they? Last time the "mighty" :lolol: Albion finished above CPFC, Berlin still had a wall through it.

You haven't finished above us for what, 30 years?
We haven't been in the third tier for 35 years.

You can say what you like about cheating to stay there, but I'd like to see you SERIOUSLY call yourself a bigger club taking those into account.
