As much as I like the fella, I can't see Chippy being retained. I'm afraid his legs looked like they'd gone for most of the season. He just lacked that yard to actually close people down, and just that crucial extra split-second to pick a pass rather than lump it forward.

He's been brilliant for us, but I don't think there's anything more to come.

Fully agreed. Sad though it is, he's what, 34 now? He's passed his peak, and I can't see that he's worth retaining.

This is a sad business as Chippy, Guy and Kerry have been great clubmen. I think that they all have to go.
Charlie could be retained and be skipper of the reserves/in the dug out.
Gary Hart and Alexis Nicolas are worth another go.

But we don't even know who will be making the decisions.

Some of our young players will start to make a big impact next season.
