We have done more deals than Del Boy in a Peckham market

Using 2 managers and a caretaker, we have signed TWENTY FOUR players since the end of last season.

1 x goal keeper
7 x defenders
11 x midfielders
5 x strikers

2 have been for money, 10 have been free transfers and 12 have come in on loan

All this added to a squad that finished 7th last season, it seems the unstability has untangled us some what, so lets hope we learn our lesson and make a few decent signings that can play in all competitions and we can get a run going for the charge up League 1*

I guess a new manager is going to want to bring in his own players next season to though...

*well maybe 2

Could be part of the reason this season has been a failure.

We haven't had a team - just lots & lots of players.

100% correct, struggling teams use lots of players successful teams have continuity.

Not sure we'll see Thornton again

What team would people assemble from the players that are (i) completely new this season [ie excluding the likes of Virgo and Carole] and (ii) likely to be available over the next few weeks?

Apart from the kit, would this be a recognisable "Albion" team?

All last season's team needed was a bit of tinkering and a bit of added experience.

If we had kept Lynch at the back, maybe added a couple of midfielders like Jarrett and signed McNulty at left back we would be CLASS.

What a waste of money.

why not McNulty? He's on a 3 year contract and his current illness won't stop him from playing again.

The list said, won't play again this season, and as much as I'd love him to, I don't tink he'll play again this season.

100% correct.

We needed to build on last season's successful team, not tear it apart.

We really can blame Mickey for that.

The club has been grossly mis managed this year. As has already been said all that was required was maybe half a dozen quality players including a left back, a ball playing forward moving midfielder capable of scoring goals and a decent back up striker. What on earth has it cost to sign 24 players and pay for two managers who are no longer at the club. With the money we have wasted we could have paid fees for some quality players and paid them decent wages to come here.

Out of that 24 who could you say has been/or will be a success. McNulty, Virgo (if played in his correct position), Thornton (if played). Struggling after that.

And yes, we had a team that finished 7th and now we have a team that is fighting relegation.
