Our so-called "green" council now having a pop at cyclists

This isn't this week's best example of spectacular dimwittedness from our beloved council. The honour belongs to Tuesday evening's action of telling people living in Chester Terrace that if they don't move their legally-parked cars away from the street by Thursday morning then the vehicles may well be towed away so that the council can put dotted lines down the road.

One day's notice! In peak holiday time! I just hope that if anyone got their car towed away they sue the council for inconvenience and, if appropriate, damage.

Stupid, stupid bureaucrats?

is that those dotted lines that I can't fit my people carrier between without scrapping the wheels one side on the kerb and hanging slightly over the lines the other side as they are so narrow? (before anyone asks - yes we need a people carrier because we transport disabled kids - ironically for the council quite often) - still got a parking ticket for not parking between the lines!
