Apologies if this FIXTURES but do you rate our current crop of youngsters as our best ever? I can't remember another time of such home-grown quality.

Let's face it until the last few seasons we've never had anybody useful come through the ranks. The only player to make the grade that I can remember is Tony Towner. Very few of our youth players have gone on to become first team regulars here or anywhere else for that matter. Gareth Barry is probably the only one.
