Great atmosphere at Fulham. Reminded me of the old days and there didn't seem to be any moans about the standing, bouncing, chanting or the football on display.

After all the debate about the Amex atmosphere, & the club actively looking at options to improve it, there's one thing from Monday that I think should be considered.

The prolonged chanting throughout the game, and the length of each chant, was directly helped by the banging of the corrugated metal sheeting and mesh at the back of the stand. I was in the 2nd row from the back and as well as being bloody noisy, it really helped everyone both keep time and keep going.

Rather than something more contrived like drums, could the club install this kind of material at the back of the home stands? Perhaps the North & the SWC to start with? It will sound more genuine and get the crowd going as, just as it was on Monday, it doesn't rely on only one or two people to make a racket.
