all the groundstaff for a truly magnificent pitch this season, I have not seen one thread this season ( someone im sure will correct me ) about the quality of the playing surface With one match to go, apart from the usual busy areas, I think we could start the season again on it. Full and deserving applause to you all.

I saw an interview with a Watford player and he said it was probably the best pitch in the Championship. A great effort when you see some of the pitches in the league although it helps that we don't share it with a rugby team.

Was watching MOTD last weekend and our pitch is easily better than a some of the prem surfaces... Carrow road looks like a school playing field (muddy goalmouths) compared to ours!

Sharing a pitch with a rugby team doesn't seem to have done Reading too much harm....

Last night we were up in WSU and said to my son what great condition the pitch in considering it is near the end of the Season.
