A friend's child is falling behind at school and I have been asked to help in teaching her the 'times tables'.

I have a pretty good idea how to proceed, but was wondering if any free software exists that will allow the child to do exercises on her own whilst using the computer.

Thanks

If he is competative, there is a web site called Tut Pup http://www.tutpup.com/.

It is very safe for kids to use and parents can get info on how well there child is doing.

They can compete with other children arround the world in maths tasks of varying levels.

Thats a good site, thanks, but its probably a bit too advanced at present.

This child is very competitive and is going through a phase of "if I cant be the best in the class at times tables then I wont bother doing them at all"
