OT Shoreham Sharks Basketball

Sorry for the off topic thread - but does anyone know anyone associated with the Shoreham Sharks Basketball club? Saw a flyer in town and wanted to see if they have room for our son, but the website (http://www.shorehamsharks.co.uk) is returning an error.....(also wanted to ask them where they got their logo from, as my father drew this one in the early 70's for our local association which he ran for years (http://www.sutherlandbasketball.com.au/)

My 11 year old plays for Brighton Cougars U12's. I have just checked the clubs fixtures and none of the age groups play Shoreham Sharks in the Sussex BBL so I'm not sure if they are still going at youth level.

There is SWRA Lancing and Worthing D&D, or alternatively Cougars if they are interested.

I used to play for the brighton cougars, they are a nice family friendly run team and I would recommend signing up your son there if Shoreham are no longer running teams

None of the weblinks seem to work for Shoreham Sharks.

There is a Facebook page, but no evident activity for a couple of years.

I've Pm'd Cheeserolls as I vaguley recall being in contact with him before on this topic - thanks everyone though! I'd like to get back into playing too (as well as our 6 year old) but don't think there is much around for (middle aged) women either?

I finally got the website to work but not on the link above - by going straight to the contacts page.

Thanks anyhow for the tips re Cougars - found them and they look good too!

As per my PM Sharks morphed into SRWA Storm and they are based at the Sir Robert Woodard Academy in Lancing. No idea on the origin of the now defunct logo though.
