There's footage of the wrecked car here. He probably wasn't wearing a seat belt as the windscreen is shattered.

Is the windscreen shattered because the vehicle has rolled over a few times ? Lots of claret in the interior too , hope the TV crew sound-man recovers from his neck injury.
