Oscar Garcia today gave Albion’s new training complex the thumbs up.
He believes the 40-acre development in Lancing is as good as he has seen across Europe.
The complex is due to open in time for the first day of pre-season training next summer.
Oscar had a look around this afternoon with his coaching colleagues Nathan Jones, Ruben Martinez and Juan Torrijo, as well as chief executive Paul Barber and executive director Martin Perry.
Albion’s head coach said: “It’s extremely impressive. It’s a lot bigger than you expect when you see the plans and it is an important step forward for this club.
“It’s especially important for bringing through as many young players as we can to the first team.”
The former Barcelona B coach said: “It is difficult to compare with what I’ve seen in Spain.
“But it is definitely up there with the best training complexes there are in Europe.”
