Incredible that 34 clubs have sacked their manager since Oscar was appointed just nine months ago.

I make him 58th now:

56 Everton Roberto Martinez 05/06/2013
57 Manchester City Manuel Pellegrini 14/06/2013
58 Brighton & Hove Albion Oscar Garcia 26/06/2013
59 Manchester United David Moyes 01/07/2013

There seems to be confusion over Moyes/Martinez. The LMA table puts both of them ahead of Garcia because they were announced May 9th/June 5th respectively.

Wikipedia puts them both below Garcia, listing them both as starting July 1st.

All the articles about Moyes specifically states he is due to take over on July 1st, but I can't find any evidence that Martinez had the same start date. There was an 'official unveiling' around the same time as the announcement.

It seems as if some have assumed Moyes would stay as Everton manager until June 30th, thus Martinez couldn't take over. But it seems, as you've put in your list, that Moyes had a bit of time off between Everton and Man Utd, and that Martinez started as soon as he was announced.

So, if anyone was going to question Giraffe's order, I hope that explains it.

(I totally wasn't going to correct you until I started looking for links to show they both started July 1st :angel:)

Amazing - Nigel Pearson the longest-serving manager in the Championship - less than 2 1/2 years!

Only 6 managers in the country that have served more than 3 years!

Pleased to see Micky Adams is up to 7th.

Not for much longer by the looks of things;

Port Vale boss Micky Adams is weighing up his future at the club in the wake of abuse from away fans after Tuesday night's 5-0 defeat at Bristol City.
