Suez Canal was a believable excuse for a short while. A lot of my stuff comes from China. But after a while it wore thin and I cancelled and went elsewhere.

Anyone else struggling with long waiting times on items. I ordered a new turntable in March after finding it unavailable anywhere for 6months, expected delivery was May, then delayed until August now until December Can’t get components). Mrs D7’s new company car - ordered in March 20 arrived in the UK this week, supposedly no parts in the Audi factory in Mexico.

l find your final few words sooo depressing really, the Audi factory in . . . Mexico.

Exactly. Britain doesn't introduce it's agreed import controls until next year

which is caused by reaction to the covid. businesses cut orders, disrupted chains, when they started reordering supply wasnt immediately reestablished. knock on effect of mis-located shipping containers, with too many in Europe/US and not enough in Asia to ship stuff here.
