Operation Monkfish..report. Help me get over my ex..please

Right, the ongoing saga of me getting over my ex reached new levels on Wednesday with Operation Monkfish.
My rugby team enjoyed a 19 pub crawl with sprinting inbetween and a police siege on McDonalds halfway round.
Upon reaching a club having been sick I spent all night chatting to a scouse bird with finger puppets who kept saying 'its all good' and telling me how much she loves the beatles. I defended the Stones to the hilt and realised more then ever why I miss my ex.

Any new advice?

She was very nice, attractive, seemed cool...seemed to like me..then from nowhere out popped two finger puppets which she proceeded to converse with me through.

Have you never heard the phrase "Never trust someone who talks through finger puppets"?

She's clearly an Emu short of the full Rod Hull - leave well alone Richie.

keep busy. don't go on 19 pub pubcrawls. you'll get over her eventually.

tehehe

mate, ive been there (aint we all??)

and, my advice would be just tough it out. i tried all this chatting up and casual sex bollox but i wasnt up for it. i suggest a 'mourning' period- get drunk on ur own, cry yourself to sleep etc

theres no point trying to hide how u feel.

and u will get over it.

I think even just talkiing about it on here must help, problem shared is a problem halved and all that. Just keep going Ritchie, you're obviously hurting and there's nothing that I or anyone else on here can say that can help more that a fraction of 1%, still it won't stop us trying.

DON'T just go for the first woman who smiles at you. You're bruised and you need to recover. As somebody else said we've all been there and I can assure you that you WILL feel better. Just keep dealing with one day at a time.
