The only player who looked decent last night was Darren Currie,he provided plenty of ammo but no-one got on the end of any.Defence at present is very shaky and I am very concerned when Danny Cullip and Butters are struggling,Adam Virgo made a lot of errors, and it does not bode well at the moment.I have to admit that last night against a side 2 leagues below us and getting beat,we really must bring in a couple of players of experience at this level even if only loanees to get some results and lift the confidence, cos when we concede we are being run ragged and no-one seems to rally the troops!!

Leon looked pretty sharp too. Would have scored twice in the second half but for their 'keeper.

Leon at times looked sharp but we were playing a league 2 side not a championship side!!!!

We really were poor yesterday. I think changes are needed ASAP. Harding's general play is good, but he seems to make basic defensive errors at the moment which are REALLY costing us. I'm far less convinced about Virgo as well. Another actual midfielder alongside Nicolas wouldn't be out of place either. What about:

Kuipers

Hinshelwood Cullip Butters Mayo

Currie Nicolas Harding Jarrett

Knight Molango

for saturday? Possibly we could also bring El-Abd at right back and move Hinsh into the centre in place of Butters who's lack of pace was badly exposed at times last night.

Watching the highlights last night, we created plenty of chances and its not all that bad. Just a couple of defensive errors as usual cost us.

Agreed though Currie looked by far our best player, was delivering some real quality.

At least it would appear the Currie knockers have dissapeared, no doubt 1 ordinary game and they will be back tho.

There is no substitute for class and Currie has that in abundance. It's just a shame that most of the rest of the team don't have his vision and skill.

Currie is proving an excellent signing and has the quality for this division. Can't wait for the return of CHIPPY too!

You obviously werent at Wigan, he was useless at best and against any sort of pace is a waste of a player.

I watched the extended highlights last night and going forward we looked shit hot!

Plenty of crosses. quite a few chances but just never made them count. Jarrett left defenders for dead. Should have had a penalty (again). Leon was unlucky not to score.

Just defence let us down again. Get that back sorted and we'll get a few points.

Last nights performance was encouraging for me.

it doesnt matter wat level your playing against making schoolboy errors like that your gonna concede goals! we've not seen comical defending like that since the 12 game run 2 years ago

remember

butters and culip falling into each other against stoke
and in the following game andy petterson falling over as the gills kevin james rolled the ball into an empty net
