More often than not, I leave the table UP on the night. Not always of course - thats the nature of cards. But the fact remains, I started playing online in January last year, and have paid in a grand total of $20 (about £11) when making that initial deposit, and never been near having to make another deposit since.

I've withdrawn about $150 in winnings. Not megabucks I grant you, but I only play for a bit of fun.

What table you on? I got raped at first on the fixed tables because I'd only played NL and didn't really understand the game. You might be better of in low money tourneys. In money games I'd start off playing tight if I were you

Too right, i have only just started playing the PL10 & NL10 tables, yeah its great win you win, but you can get busted just as quick.

Stick to the 5/10 tables to gain some experience.

Just play your blinds and STRONG hands...learn to shrug if you chuck what would've turned out to be a good hand. It'll pay off in the long run, otherwise you'll just end up chasing losses all night. As a rule, I'll play anything thats suited (at least for the flop), pocket pairs obviously, but other than that its got to be a picture PLUS at least an 8 to keep me in. The rest I chuck.
