One Win in 7

Brighton Mod

Its All Too Beautiful
we have hardly been shocking......we moved the ball around well in places today.......we are a good team, just need a bit of metal.....and someone needs to shake lopez and orlandi and give them some balls.

Honestly couldn't see us scoring today, but thankfully we did. A few players seem a little jaded, yet still playing badly and securing points, even though its only 7 from 21. My fear is that our form is in a long term downward trajectory, which is not a good portent for the playoffs. Too many team changes and back to playing one up front has not given us continuity. Hold on for the ride because the playoffs are not a given and thenif we get there we have got to start winning, which is proving difficult at the moment. Our set up is defensive which will put us at a disadvantage in the playoffs.

In some ways the management as a whole seem to be playing down our chances as well, maybe we are saving ourselves for next season

That will really hurt Leicester today

There remaining fixtures include Bolton,Palace,Watford & Forest

I think they're stuffed

Still have Bolton & Forest to worry about, but both have to go to Cardiff

But I can see us potentially not losing any of our last 5 games

Far too much optimism!

But good performances against Forest and Charlton. Bolton we were better then. So although results have been less than required, we are still in there and performing.

Keep deluding yourself, all of those teams were there to be beaten, we didn't.

Doesn't help when Gus keeps tinkering with the side. Every week he makes two or three changes win lose or draw.

Injuries and illness have forced the changes. We're still there and still everything to play for.

Oh come mate. Injuries and illness are irrelevant as if he had a fit squad then we'd have massive changes. Ulloa would probably have found himself on the bench for Barnes. Gus can not stick with the same starting 11 week in week out and that'll cost us a play off place.

Disagree we have the easier run in, just need a change of luck next Saturday as normally we fail miserably at Borough

Meaning it'll be harder as that's the case with so called easier games.

No I think the others will struggle more than we will with their games left.

I am forever the optimist

KLL & Vicente were the two changes today & when they can on as subs they wee the two most influential players on the pitch, after an out of form team were given too much respect by Gus from the off.
Gus was given a Spanish/English dictionary with the page with 'Unchanged' torn out, unfortunately

We're in the box seat

Wins against Blackpool & Wolves at home another at Leeds

Leicester would have to win 4 of their last 5 (that ain't gonna happen)

Bolton having to go to Cardiff (would need to win their 4 remaining fixtures)

We could even lose at Boro and get away with it

71-72 points could well be enough

There-in lies the problem. A emotion charged derby excepted, we have not been able to win games for weeks. Now Ulloa has got himself known, our chances of winning without any other attacking options are even lower.

As stated on the Barnes thread, he will be back for those games.

Did we? I must have fallen asleep.

No, no, there were definitely some nice square and backward passes at the back. It was just when anyone tried to pass the ball with any Leicester players around that the problems started and the ball went straight to them. We looked mutch better when the players tried to actually use the ball, than excessive passes being made. Examples being Buckley, LuaLua and Vicente taking on players and moving forward.
