Hopefully Gus will want to get back into winning ways against Woking and will put the 1st team out!

(I know Im probably clutching at straws here!)

I don't think it has much to do with Woking to be honest. We had to lose sometime and today we were just unlucky. Our promotion rivals didn't fare very well also.

This result means a weaker side against Woking I would think. The league is the priority.

Other positives - we lost - less chance of Gus getting poached anytime soon.
Spurs and Leeds continue to win - less chance of Gus getting poached anytime soon.

(not that I believe he's going anywhere for a couple of years)

I thank you.

Woking has caused this result today.
Poyet made too many changes for that match.
One or two would have been enough.
They have lost their momentum.

There is only one way to get it back quickly.

Don't take half of the reserves to Woking on Tuesday and struggle to a 1-0 or 2-0 victory.
He has got to take his strongest team available and win 7-0 or 8-0

That way they will bounce back immediately.
Struggle to a 1-0 win and they will start to slip down the table.

We shall see.

Agreed - but let's beat the non-league teams and go out against a big Premiership team - please!!

Agreed, we have a great chance to get into the 3rd round and a possible money spinning tie! Im sure Bloom would rather get into the 3rd round.

It's better to have a match soon after rather than dwelling on the defeat all week. I think it'll be a weakened team but still good enough to win by a couple of goals at Woking.

I thought that we had done rather well since sending out weak teams in the JPT and the league Cup.

Incidentally, we were 8 points clear of the third placed team this morning.........and we're still 8 points clear of 3rd place this evening...(surely that's all that matters..?)

Exactly. We have been on a brilliant run, we had to loose sometime. The reason we lost was simple, we had 10 men, they had 11.

Win on Tuesday, then back to business on Saturday with a win.

After todays loss there is even more reason to get out of the Cup which could result in more injuries. We are not going to win the cup, but we need to be in the Championship at Falmer, there are many seats to fill and that is not going to be done if we are still in Division 1.
