One of the most memorable games. I had sponsor's tickets for that game, VERY interesting being inside the west stand when you lot were all kicking off outside. You were so close to getting in, these two stewards were losing the battle to keep the doors closed when the pushing seemed to stop outside. Me and my Dad were then escorted outside via the players corridors, and in the midst of all of this I remember walking past Peter Smith and Nicky Rust and thinking, 'Cool, Peter Smith and Nicky Rust!!'

It seems like a lifetime ago now. The sight of Bellotti running for his life will always be a treasured memory.

This was the game when Bellotti got chased out, right?

Still a highlight, even now. I know at least one NSCer was responsible for that..there may be more. Well done to you

I remember running from the North stand vaulting the the wall into the North West terrace and then climbing up towards the Directors box.
Bellotti was long gone by then, but it still felt like a victory.
I often think if you attempted to explain even half of what went on that season to a young fan at the Amex they would simply never believe you.

I remember this game so well. I was in the north stand - Bellotti legging it from the west stand was a brilliant sight but i also remember the total despair i felt. Nothing what so ever to moan about although I did voice my opinion a coule of times of our lack lustre display today at the match!

That was an awful game - even one of the goals we scored came off Baird's arse,

Don't know what it was about Darlo but was it the following season that we lost 4-0 at 'home' to them? That was probably the worst single game I've seen as Brighton supporter.
