In my Navy days when the bands were shall we say in decline,they used to tour all the Naval bases,and we saw The Rubbettes,and a good few more whose names escape me,but the best Live Band were Mud and in Les Gray you had a bloke who knew how to sing as well as entertain.

So Mud for me,although being an oldie it will always be Slade for there so called Skinhead music and the rest.
