I went with 8 others in a stretch limo - a friend did some research and discovered that this was cheaper for us than going on the train.

It turned out that we weren’t alone - there seemed to be loads of limos heading for Cardiff that day. This was particularly enjoyable on the way home, waving to Bristol City fans in their coaches as we cruised along the M4.

It was a superb day from start to finish. Great memories.

Caught the train down to Exeter via Bristol after the game. Rammed full of City fans. Just a handful of Albion. The City fans couldn’t have been more gracious. Even shared their beer with us. This was in contrast to before the game.

The game wasn’t particularly memorable, however what a day! My abiding memories are the arrival of the team coach through the streets near the stadium and being stuck on the m4 leaving next to cars full of Bristol City fans and enjoying winding them all up

Usage rights for professionally shot photos are one of the biggest risks to NSC. I know people want to share great photos, but if they're professionally shot then sooner or later the rights holder will come after NSC for their fee, and this is typically many hundreds of pounds per photo.

However, I do have access to an image library through one of NSC's partners, and I've just been scrolling through some photos of that day, some of which I'm posting to Facebook later - it's sitting in my scheduler for 9:54 this morning.

One thing that caught my eye in one of the crowd shots is how, on that fantastic day, we were still campaigning for what we now know to be the Amex...

I printed all of those banners at our factory. Me and Paul Samrah spent a couple of evenings trimming them and punching the eyelets into them before they got distributed to those on the front rows along with bungee chords to fix them with.

My most cherished memory is the final whistle at Hereford. The most emotional, both good and bad, that I have ever felt at a football match

Unlikely that the highs since would have ever happened without that result.

That’s a fair shout. I was there too, somewhat different emotions, but the same. Ultimately Cardiff was a huge positive, Hereford was just a huge relief.

I still have my Brighton St George Flag with “Prescott, give us a ground” and my drawing of him. The fact I drew him minus a few lbs I still believe may have swung it for us

Great memories however one of my worse ones was queueing up and around Queens Road to buy tickets. I think I queued for close on 7 hours only for a friend to tell me he had gone to Withdean and only waited 2 hours ! If my memory serves me right the tickets were on sale in the old Virgin Records shop ? We might complain about online ticket sales now but it is such an improvement on then.

I was living in central Bristol at the time.

After the game, in jubilant mood, I was dropped off near home complete with my large Albion scarf (still on its pole), and an even larger one that was tied round my neck and I was wearing as a kind of cape.

I lasted about 30 seconds before I was abused and then chased back to my flat!

I went with my partner at the time and her brother’s best mate was a Bristol fan and so we met some of them the night before (stayed in Cardiff for the weekend to make a weekend of it). They were SO confident beforehand. It was delicious to beat them.

Twenty one years ago?! Jesus. I went with my Dad, Grandad and Uncle and it's one of my favourite Brighton memories, I was thirteen.

I have absolutely no idea how this type of thing works but I do have a few questions:

1) How does anyone find "their" image on an internet forum and then know who to contact? How do they prove it is theirs in the first place?

2) Can you just delete them and move on or do you need to pay? If so, how is it administered?

3) Who determines that a photo they took is worth "many hundreds of pounds"?

4) Who polices the deletion of professionally shot photos on here and how would you know that they were?

Think that was the start of Seagull travel. At Withdean you could book a coach seat after you had brought your match ticket. Nearest pick up point for me was the Elim Church in Newhaven .

No, the tickets were for sale in the first club shop on the west side of Queens Road, before it moved to the other side a couple of years later.
I got there around 07.30 behind a dozen or so people. We took it in turns to get coffees for each other. @Beach Hut was just in front of me. I also bought the train tickets there.
As I recall it was Withdean that had the long queues.
