They are so full of sanctimonious bullshit, it just seems worth making them squirm for a bit - even if they get what they want in the end, it might make them realise how stupid they look !

The 'usually reliable media source' is our own NSC - and a posting made by redland earlier today. Perhaps he really knows something about this??

You don't honestly believe that its just Coppell we're talking to, is it?

Hence the delay. Whoever comes in will have a mixture of the current staff and additional ones from personal experience.

So, Coppell, Adams, (AN Other manager potentially or even 2 more), Dillon, Hammond, McDermott, Bashir, etc are all being talked to all the time to see who is coming/staying, and who is on their way out.

Not as simple as first meets the eyes, hence the delays. There are a lot of positions to fill, and a lot of people needing to sign new/different contracts. Depending on who the next manager would want to keep, and who he is willing to negotiate with.

There's not just a manager at RFC. There's

Assistant
Coach
Reserve Team Manager
U-19 manager
Scouts
U-17 manager
Academy Director
Director of Football

All assuming different responsibilities. Whoever the manager is will have to fit into the infrastructure, and some would prefer less infrastructure, some more.

This is far from over, as you can imagine. Its not just "oh, fancy a job as manager of RFC?", "Ok then" or "no, no thanks".

The VD-ridden one does not have his own 'team' at BHAFC - they are all people who were here before him, and are in the same jobs.

Why should this be an issue for him at Reading ?

I don't buy that Wilts you need a manager In and NOW, your slipping down the league fast and the longer you leave it the worse its gonna get.

But we don't have a game for over a week, so the important thing is to get it right. Not slowly or quickly, just work night and day to get the best long-term solution for this club.

and I'll say it again - SC does not his own 'team' at BHA and I don't see why he would have a problem with working with his mate Pardews chums whi are already in place.

Something doesn't add up :)

yeah, but you have to get the main man in first before you start filling other posts surely................................

Not the RFC way. Everyone get sorted together, at once.

What rubbish. There's been an almighty F==k up.

Seeing for how long you knew Pardew was going to leave and still not sorted something, it should have been sorted by now.

How blinkered!

There has been over 50 applications from managers, so it takes a great deal of time to sort out a shortlist of 1 to 5. There has been around 20 odd interviews, which is hardly an overnight thing, is it?

Almighty cock up my arse - interpret that however you like ;)

We've experienced a fair few cock-ups in the managerial merry-go-round with appointments and believe me, this one has all the hallmarks of rubbish planning about it.

You'll still get your man but no thanks to an almighty cock being up anyone's arse either, I think you'll find.
