Olympic Tickets

I cant believe in this time of financial restraint that so many people who could not obtain tickets for top events which of course were creamed off by the corporate groups are now purchasing tickets for weightlifting,wrestling and womens football yet they would not cross the road to see these sports locally

There's a difference between watching my local sports club who would do well to break the 11 second barrier in the mens 100m to watching Usain Bolt.
It's no different to watching Brighton v your most local club.

Ok fine. There's a difference between watching my local sports club who would do well to lift 200kg when the likes of *insert name of a well built Eastern European* can lift 300kg (I have no idea about weightlifting, as you may have guessed).
It's no different to any event. More people watch Brighton because the quality and facilities are better than say, Whitehawk FC. You can't compare the Olympics to a run down local sports club.

Well lets be honset we have the chance to go to see an Olympic event that comes about once in 50years if were lucky, i dont think many people are going to turn that down
