Well, I thought it was f***ing brilliant.....& so did everyone else in that shite pub known as Walkabouts.

The Bubbles showed us what is expected if we ever get the games....which I doubt!!!!

Mind you, I'm sure the Falmer stadium could host the ping-pong!

........I wasn't blaming the Greeks for the situation in the Sudan.....just that spending loads of money on fireworks & lavish opening ceremonies could possibly be better spent, isn't the actual sport entertainment enough ?

The Olympics, World Cups etc are brilliant for "global harmony" so we are told....but if you've been forced to walk thousands of miles with no food, water & shelter.... I expect watching the rest of the world having fun is not top of your priority list...that's all?

The cost of the Olympics is probably eqivalent to the amount the Yanks are spending a week in the Gulf.

If we wanted to stop what happening in Sudan, we could move one of the British or Yank battalions a couple of hundred miles west.
