Happy with that, and great to get it sorted early.

Now lets not completely write him off if he takes more than 2 games to get up to speed.

Not a done deal yet. Hold!
Now you tell us.

Christ, I’ve just ordered a shirt with his name on the back.

I’m going to look like a right pillock of this one falls through.

1. To get this guy on a free transfer at 27 years old with Champions League experience is superb business.
2. His progressive passing metrics are incredible, this is the sort of ball-playing LCB we've been crying out for since Colwill returned to Chelsea.
3. We'll have Boscagli, Igor, JPVH, Webster with Veltman, having one more year on his contract, so where does this leave Cashin and - more significantly - Dunk?

Cashin loaned to a newly promoted team, or top Championship team I would think. Veltman will stick to right back duties. So that means CB minutes shared between Boscagli, Igor, JPVH, Webster, and Dunk. Maybe one more will go, but if this season's injuries are anything to go by then we should probably keep them all.

We certainly shouldn’t be having Plan A that relies on Webster, Veltman and Welbeck being fit for most of the season, will be a bonus if that happens. Planning needs plenty good back ups to those and not another season of “why us” on injuries. Dunk will be good back up, jury out on the other fella

A very exciting signing. Great news*

*In an 'I've never seen him play and haven't a clue if he's any good or not' sort of way

I have no idea as to the reliability of this site, as I’ve never seen it before, but I googled the question that everyone else will ask, and it came back with this:
