I reckon they will get an investor at the last minute. Huddersfield got right to the brink like this last season but are out of administration now.

Peter Ridsdale is still lurking around looking for a team to invest in (not that I would want him)

A friend of mine is ALWAYS highly sceptical about clubs "on the brink" as they invariably get saved at the last minute, and the cynic in him reckons they talk it up to boost crowds.

He does have a point, and they will certainly get everyone turning out Saturday.

I reckon they will be saved, at the very last minute, just like Huddersfield, York, Bradford etc.

Gritt, there's no doubt that we've all been de-sensitised by the number of times a club has 'reached the brink', but a club will go under sometime soon.

agree that i would rather oldham stay in business, if they do everyone will be happy and we will have our 3 (6?) points come end of the season
