My only complaint is that thay ran out of hot food in our area before half-time. Popped down to get a pie or something and there was only crisps and chocolate available.

I did get a burger from one of those vans on the way to the ground and it had a horrible affect on me. By the time I was home my stomach was in bad state and when I got home the first thing I did was to splatter the toilet. It smelt so bad I was almost sick into the bargain as well and having it "channel tunnel" was not something I wanted!!!

Albion & England forever.

Um then why support Brighton now if you have no desire to see us play at the top level?

Best way is to drive.
I was home in Shoreham by 9.30, and managed to finish the evening off with 90mins down the pub.

If you suss out the area and park about half a mile from the ground you can get away easily in a car - and it does'nt mean leaving the game early.

More likely you'll come out to find someone but not yourself has got away in your car early.

I went to Old Trafford for the first and last time yesterday.

At the station after the game they had only three turnstiles, where each person had to go through individually and buy their ticket, or have their existing ticket checked.

It must have taken me about an hour and a half to get through the queue and onto the train, and I was quite near the front.

Ridiculous, and this supposed to be the best ground in the country. It made Wembley look good.

I'd hate to be a Man United fan and have to do that every other week.

It will be just my luck we Man U away in the cup now.

What station were you at ?
We walked to the metrolink near the cricket ground, had to wait about 30 mins or so, got back to Piccadilly by 6pm, on train at 6.13 to Leeds arrived in Leeds at 7.05 had to wait untill 8.15 untill our train back to london, just enough time for a burger king and 3 pints in the Rose and Crown.
Loads of seats on the train plenty of Stellas, arrive Kings X at 10.50 a 3 minute run to Kings X thames link to catch 10.56 train to 3 Bridges, which was cancelled!! So had to wait til 11.24 for next one. Was in bed by 1 am.

That was coming home, getting there was a f*cking nightmare!!!

tit. I have been to old trafford many times. Its a fantastic ground with the best motorway links around. I was there on Saturday and from the moment I left the ground to get onto the motorway took me 15 mins. Brilliant.

Was on the 20.15 too. Got back to KX and ran (hobbled) over to KXT for the last Thameslink and it was cancelled!! It was alright for you as you only needed to get to Three Bridges, but I had to get to Haywards Heath so I had to go all the way back to the underground, argue with the bloke, and then get back to Victoria. I got back about 12.45!!

Luckily the train went no where near that place. Only reason we got back to London was the guard took pity on us and let us travel on the Virgin service with GNER tickets. Also the bar on Virgin Trains is fecking expensive and ran out of cider.

Ah didnt know you posted on here. I was with you with the foot long Kebab and bad wind which didnt get any better!!

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Oh Andy, what an an old moaning woman you are.

I've been going to England games for years but I have never seen so many chav like little minkers as there was on Saturday, I knew the day wasnt going to be great when we witnessed some Yeovil fans chucking a wheelie bin at a Swansea bus, one of them was head to toe in Burberry, and it was gratifying to later see him being escorted into the back of an OB Wagon.

As far as Old Trafford was concerned I think its a bit disapointing, but it was a good atmosphere, it was a new ground for me and I enjoyed the day out, and even more so the night on the piss in Chester afterwards:clap2:

The only real hassle if any I saw is when 5 coached from Penrith pulled into Old Trafford with some of the most evil looking bastards I have seen on board. They were jumping out of the fre exits at the back trying to get at the English, however cause thet were pissed and the buses were moving as sson as they hit the ground they just ended up rolly pollying along the road into the arms of the old bill

There was 3 of us, I had to get back to 3 Bridges but the other 2 were going to Brighton, they changed a East Croydon and I stayed on to 3 Bridges.

Did you have a green coat on and when you got on the 20.15 train you asked us if we enjoyed the game?

Why was there no beer for sale in the ground?

Did anybody see one of the Welsh supporters coaches get battered by hundreds of beer cans before the game?

Saw no aggro, but loads of menacing groups of blokes walking around showing off their new Stone Island jumpers

The pub we were in was full of burberry boys.I didn't see any trouble though.

Not sure why no beer was sold but all the budweiser logo's around the catering area's were covered up.

Went to Old Trafford on Saturday for the game too - cracking view of being behind the goal that Beckham scored in! :clap2:

Plus points - ground looks decent

Bad points -

No beer inside the ground :censored: even though there was hardly any sign of trouble between the two sets of fans.

Booing of each other's anthems followed by a silence for Bigley which was not respected at all - poor timing of the silence IMO given the views of people on the man, and the already heated bit of banter prior.

No atmosphere from the England fans - much more from Wales.

Transport after the game, walking around, no taxis, no buses, no trams (all full). No idea. No direction, all pubs full. Not fun.

Oh, the M6 in general for traffic, other than the toll road which is immense!

They covered all the beer prices but left Brandy on the price lists, however I presumed this was off the menu.

The minutes silence was ruined by one of the England fans behind me, as it all went quiet he let out a huge BAAAAAA which of course set off the Welsh who were right above us.

No.

There were some Brighton fans on the 20.15 who seemed to know my name and ask where Piers was, but other than that I didn't see other Brighton fans.

We were in coach F (the quiet coach) then about 6 northern chavs got on, and were smoking and being twats and an announcement was put over the train tannoy that there has been a complaint about thier behaviour, we moved because my mate was starting to lose his temper, so instead of us throwing them off via the window, we went in search for the buffet car to calm down. The chavs got off at Doncaster!
