Further to the above poster poster, here is said poster on the same day. Does anyone have pictures of all of the outside of the ground?

I did go round the outside and took quite a few in the week before the end. I haven’t scanned them and don’t know if there’s enough interest or space on here to post them all. If there are any specific bits then I can post those.

Not much going on football wise, so here's another contribution from the original inspiration of this thread:

I have a hobby that includes 60k of old postcards. I just added these with may be of interest. They came fro a Northamptonshire collection with lots of annotations.
It seems the team is Brighton when they played against Northampton in 1911/12. I have seen the other before, it’s a picture of the Northampton fans at a Brighton cup game around 1928/29.
However, if you know better let me know.

A jolly charabanc outing from the pub The Kings Head , which once stood in West Street. They seem dressed up maybe off to the races? I noticed a keg in te front so I expect they had a good time .

The Kings Head disappeared to make way for building the old SS Brighton sports stadium…. Nowadays it is this.

How did they all keep their hats when the charabanc reached max warp speed?
