Was it the Gillingham game that we won where El-Abd got a thunderstrike volley after a free kick? The ref's performance there was so biased towards us that it was hilarious.

We won that Gillingham game 4-2, but El-Abd didn't score a blunderbus. Gillingham scored in the first few minutes with a screaming volley and that is probably what you are thinking of. I remember the ref being stupendously biased towards us all game (I think he sent one of their lads off for breathing) and I remember saying to my brother that if those same decisions were going against us rather than in our favour that I would have been apoplectic.

1. Glenn Murray's debut goal against Crewe

2. Wheelchair pitch invasion

3. Getting close to the play off's

4. Despair and disillusion when Wilkins was sacked. Such treachery (but from whom - Wilkins or Knight?!?!?)

5. 45 minutes of scintillating football against Barnet in the JPT that made me think Knight had got it right... then I lost patience with Virgo on the right wing and I haven't been for some time

1 Falmer starting
2 The historic Man City win
3 Glenn Murray's performance against Millwall - and the rest of the team, too, despite the miserable weather and the fact I was stuck in Block A with a number of 'fans' who were so tragically disinterested it was bizarre
4 The return of Adam Hinshelwood, against all odds
5 At long last, the chance for John Sullivan to prove his worth
6 Despite all the other disappointments, the early stages of a trip to Wembley ...

highlight for me is yet again we let the hangers on at this club get away with it again, when are we going to get rid of the(lets all have tea at my house gang) and get some professional in to run our club.or can i write a poem for a free season ticket? we need hard nosed people in to take us forward. we can all drive a digger around a field and say we've started. theres no room for sentament, if we carry on with this lot then they might as well call the new stadium the woolworth bowl.
