You are not where you are because of 2 penalty decisions and a red card. How about some of you live up to reality and realise your manager is getting found out with his 'south american' style of play.

Because South American teams have never been any good at football, have they?

I was there. Brighton did well in the first half, but by "well" I mean they contained Southampton comfortbaly without actually getting anywhere near creating a chance for themselves.

In the second half Southampton started stronger, scored a decent goal and didn't really look back from there. I know you can look at the one dodgy penalty decision and the sending off and feel hard done by, but really that would just paper over the cracks. After the first goal, apart from one chance just afterwards, it was one way traffic - and pretty embarassing from a BHA perspective TBH. The sending off was stupid - for the assistant manager to drop his team in the crap like that is pretty poor. At 2-0 with 11 men Poyet had a chance to make changes and turn it around. At 2-0 with 10 men there was only going to ever be one outcome.

The great way we started the season gave some supporters the unlikely hopes of us gaining promotion to the Premiership, which has put pressure on the manager and players,I was one of many who thought we would do well to finish mid-table,now we are in that position those who had built up the fantasy promotion position cannot accept the present situation and abuse those who followed their expectations and are now dis-satisfied.
I am surprised that the language they use is being tolerated.

The sending off and the penalties cover the fact that we did not get one shot on goal,so well done Southampton you finished behind us last season but are well ahead this year.

For me your biggest issue is having no plan B. Fair enough you contained us well in the first half, and thats great if you can do it for 90 minutes, but as soon as we scored you had to change your game. It was no good just keeping the ball without showing any endevour. And from that we looked like scoring most times we came forward. TBF I though it was gonna be 5 or 6 today at one point. Your keeper made one or 2 good saves.

Anything to say, Goring Gull?

Shall we start hoofing it long?

Shall we change the Manager and his negative South American tactics, Redneb?

Or are we actually doing pretty bloody well for a team that was in League 1 last year?

I can't believe how far we have fallen behind Southampton. Gus has been found out at this level shame because it promised so much. You can tell the pressure is getting to him hence the outbursts on Talksport earlier in the week.

It's the lack of passion that really worries me.

Got to agree with Commander, you've posted nearly 10 times since Saturday, twice even last night following the win, and not one has been about the wins Albion have been picking up. You'd rather say you saw a bloody Crawley shirt in Huddersfield than make any comment about a decent run starting.

You're quick to start stupid negative threads like this one, then when things pick up, you don't say shite. Perhaps you would rather the team failed. Found out at this level my arse.

The worst thing about losing a few games is how it brings out the spineless serpents from beneath the rocks to squirm and sting with their inherently poisoned view of the world. I am a miserable fucker, i really am, but i love the Albion and still sit blissfully with the position we are in and the intention of playing football attractively.
It's sad that NSC becomes unvisitable after a defeat to witness these same witless goons hawking intolerably for attention. Thankfully i have the girlfriend's mother coming to stay. She doesn't speak a word of English, but a conversation with her done in twitch and wink and warming smile alone will be more interesting and engaging than this ungracious drivel.

That is SUCH a good post. Whenever we lose it always brings out the thickest posters.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Goring Gull is the best fisherman on Nsc. He gets more bites than Ernest and TCB put together.

I've never really got my head round this 'fishing' malarkey. Ernest, GG et al post bollocks and people say "you're posting bollocks". That's not catching anyone out, that's being caught out, surely?

Everyone knows GG is a bullshit merchant and Ernest is a one-trick pony. Merely stating that does not, in my humble opinion, make GG or Ernest great wind-up merchants. They're just sad c*nts (in my opinion).

I've never understood either. What is 'fishing'? Saying something and then getting people to disagree with you? Why? Do they really have nothing better to do? I don't get it.

GG is a just a thick, negative idiot who doesn't understand football, there isn't any 'fishing' about it. And if there is, and actually he issn't thick, negative, or an idiot, then that makes it even sadder.

I don't mind Ernest though, at least I find some of his stuff amusing, and it does make me chuckle the way somebody knew always gets sucked in by it because the way he writes it makes it so obvious that he isn't serious. There's nothing funny about GG's post, they're just boring.

People should ignore his threads but they don't, they get in a real lather contradicting him and name calling. I'm sure he takes bets on how many pages each negative thread gets.

Replying 10 times to your own thread is not the sign of someone 'fishing'. I assume fishing is akin to testing how gullible someone is, and that is about being as implausible as possible to make the person believe it's true. No good saying something that is pretty much believable as that negates the person being gullible doesn't it. I suggest you go stroke his rod if you think he's so clever!

Take 4 of your best players out of the team and see how well you do..not an excuse but a fact. We were pretty well down to the bare bones when we played you, yes we lost but you had quite a bit of help from the officials too.

You really are a smug bastard btw, I hope you continue posting on here when you hit your bad patch
