Crystal Palace have identified the man they want to be their new manager, director of football Bob Dowie has revealed.Eagles chairman Simon Jordan has interviewed the final two candidates to succeed Iain Dowie, with Hull boss Peter Taylor strongly linked with the post, and an announcement is expected early next week.

If Peter Taylor rejected the Charlton job in the Prem why would he want to work a division lower for Tangoman?

The rumour was he wasn't their first choice and on finding that out went back to Hull a little embarressed.
