Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-21s will play their rearranged Barclays Premier League Cup tie against Charlton Athletic tonight, kick-off 7pm.

The match had originally been scheduled for Wednesday 26th November, but was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch at Park View Road.

This is the first match in the competition for Simon Ireland’s side, while Charlton progressed to this stage following a 4-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon in October.Albion were knocked out in the second qualifying round of the competition last season, following a pulsating 4-3 extra-time defeat to Cardiff City at Culver Road.
Tonight’s game takes place at Ebbsfleet United’s Stonebridge Round ground and a match report will follow on seagulls.co.uk.
