Brighton & Hove Albion’s under-18s were beaten 3-1 by Arsenal on Saturday.Tyrell Robinson’s brace and a goal from Yassin Fortune were enough to secure victory for the Gunners, while Luis Garcia scored what proved to be a consolation goal for Albion.
Arsenal took the lead in the second minute when Robinson latched onto Joshua Da Silva’s long ball and fired into the net off the crossbar.
But the Seagulls equalised just six minutes later, as Garcia poked the ball beyond Gunners keeper Ryan Huddart.
Da Silva had a chance to regain the lead for Arsenal, but Albion shot-stopper Robert Sanchez made a good save and Fortune narrowly failed to connect with the loose ball on the rebound.
