February started in disappointing fashion as the Seagulls fell to a 2-0 defeat at Watford in a Sunday afternoon kick-off.
However, a week later Albion saw off Doncaster 1-0 at the Amex as Leo Ulloa ended his goal drought with an expertly taken header.*
Billy Sharp broke his leg on his previous visit to the Amex and once again the forward had a day to forget on the south coast as he saw red late on for kicking out at Gordon Greer.*
Leeds United were up next for a Tuesday night kick-off. The previous two encounters on Albion turf had produced ten goals in two exhilarating fixtures but a more cagey affair was produced on this occasion, with the Seagulls victorious thanks to a solitary Ulloa strike again. *
A busy February continued with Premier League Hull City being given a run for their money at the Amex in the FA Cup fifth round. *
Ulloa was yet again the man to fire home for Albion as the Seagulls looked set to upset the odds in front of the BT Sport cameras. *
But Steve Bruce's side refused to lay down and Bakary Sako's late intervention forced a replay.*
