The club’s pre-season tour will include matches against Partick Thistle on Saturday 12th July, kicking off at 7pm, followed by a fixture against Real Betis on Thursday 17th July - with both taking place at the Pinatar Arena, San Pedro del Pinatar.
Albion’s pre-season campaign kicks off at Lewes on Saturday 5th July (kick-off 3pm) – Hyypia’s first match in charge – before the senior and development squads depart for Spain on 9th July.
The tour will also include two under-21 fixtures, both expected to take place at La Manga Club on Friday 11th and Tuesday 15th July – with kick-off times to be confirmed. Opposition and full details will be announced in due course.
After returning to England, the first-team will visit League One sides Crawley Town, on Tuesday 22nd July, kick-off 7.45pm, and Peterborough United, on Saturday 26th July, kick-off 3pm.
Home fans will get their first glimpse of Hyypia's side, when Albion tackle Southampton in a home friendly at the Amex on Thursday 31st July.
Meanwhile the club’s under-21s will play Arundel in a pre-season friendly on 29th July, 7:45pm kick-off to mark the club’s 125-year anniversary celebrations; and will play Ryman Premier South side Worthing at Woodside Road on Saturday 2nd August, kick-off 3pm.
The under-21s preparation for the new season will also include behind-closed-doors friendly matches against Stoke City, Chelsea and AFC Bournemouth – although fans will be able to enjoy highlights exclusively via Seagulls Player.
